FOR THE

2009 REUNION

YES, NEXT YEAR WE ARE BACK 'BIGGER & BETTER' AND WILL BE HOLDING THE 2009 REUNION AT THE 'BEGBROOK CLUB' STAPLETON.

THE PREMISES IS WELL DECORATED,  A LARGE BAR, WITH COMFORTABLE SEATING FOR 140, A LARGE DANCE FLOOR & STAGE, GOOD VIEWING TO BE HAD FROM ALL AREAS AND AMPLE PARKING.

PAT AND KEITH WILL BE PUTTING ON OUR TRADITIONAL ROCK & ROLL DISCO.

BRISTOLS ROCK 'N' GERRY  WHO WAS A BIG HIT AT LAST YEARS PARTY, WILL BE APPEARING AGAIN IN 2009, AND  BULA BULA, A ROCK 'N ROLL DUO FROM THE BRISTOL COMETS WILL BE COMPLETING THE 2009 LINE-UP.

THE DATE HAS BEEN SET FOR THE SATURDAY 21st FEBRUARY 2009 AND THE BAR WILL BE OPEN UNTIL 12 MIDNIGHT.

THE BEGBROOK CLUB IS LOCATED ON THE SAME ROAD AS THE DRG FOOTBALL CLUB, IT IS ABOUT 1/4 OF A MILE ALONG THE FRENCHAY PARK ROAD, ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE, JUST BEFORE THE STOKE PARK/UWE JUNCTION TRAFFIC LIGHTS, THE CLUB HAS A SIGNPOST OUTSIDE.

REUNION IS BIG HIT

The 2008 Reunion was a big hit with the ex-Fishponds people who attended this years event.

ROCK 'N' GERRY - Was a big hit with reunion members and  did his 'Elvis act' for the second part of the show.

BRISTOL PETE - Gave a shorter performance which included 'Starlight Express' and the audience joined him in singing 'You'll never walk alone'

THE OTT ROADSHOW - Ended the evening playing their 50's/60's music to a full dance floor, well done Pat & Keith

THE BRISTOL CHILDRENS HOSPITAL - Will be getting a donation of around £350 as a result of the event, and a big thanks to all of you for helping us to reach this figure. Give yourselves a pat on the back.
