The DRG Club Stapleton is still 'Rocking on its foundations' today after the Fishponds 2008 Reunion took it by storm.
Rock 'n' Gerry, Bristol Pete and the OTT Roadshow pulled out all the stops to make it a night to remember.
Mac was pleased to report that though the generosity of all of you supporting this years event, around £350 was raised for the 'Bristol Childrens Hospital'.
Some of you for various reasons could not make this years event, but all your friends hope to see you next year.
It was a very special occasion for John & Pauline Hibbert, who were celebrating 40 years of marriage, and they would like to thank all their friends for the gift and signed card that you gave them.

All four of these ex-Fishponds pupils have snapped up late cancellation tickets for Saturday.

Keith Bright is following up a request from Sandra Rogers and her friend to come.

Janet confirmed she will be going with her husband and two of their friends.
WILLY RUSSETT
Bill Russett is the latest person to e-mail me, letting me know that he will be coming up from St. Austell Cornwall with his wife Barbara for the reunion, many will remember him as a talented footballer.

Louis regrets not being able to attend, but sends his regards to all and he hopes everyone has a great night.

Met John at the Fulham football match and will find out this week if he is coming to the reunion with his wife.

Jean and her husband are the latest to put their names down for tickets.
DAVID CAREY
David is the Director of a 'Leisure Company' in Cornwall, at present he is in France and could not attend the 2007 Reunion, but he is keeping in contact so perhaps we will see him next year.
MAURICE CHURCHILL
I have received an e-mail from Maurice, unfortunately he is unable to make this years reunion, but would like to wish a Happy New Year to all his friends.
JOHN CRUMP NEW ZEALAND
I have received an e-mail from John saying how much he would of liked to be at the reunion and meet up with his old friends John Honeywell, Graham Butt and Alan Dawes again.

We have managed to book the 'Begbrook Club' Stapleton for our next Reunion Party.
We are very grateful to Mac and the DRG Stapleton Football Club for allowing us to use their premises for the last two years.
But due to the fantastic turn-outs that you have given to the reunion events, we sadly find ourselves in the position where we have outgrown the space that the DRG Club provides.
The committee are in discussion at present to maybe holding a lower keyed 'Disco Evening' there for those who want more of a 'Chat and Dance Evening' in the Summer of 2009.
The pleasing thing about the new venue is its space and comfortable seating for 140 people, we have also negotiated an extention to the bar time which will run until midnight.
Keith Bright and myself recently visited the club on a Rock 'n' Roll Disco night, and it seems to fit all our requirements.
I have managed to take some photo's of the venue for you to see and I hope that you like them, and will continue to support us again next year.
